Vice-President, Zero Long-Term Unemployment Territories
Patrick Valentin, after university studies (literature, psychology, philosophy, theology) worked in education before joining the Metallurgical Industries Group of the Paris Region. From 1975, he devoted himself to the creation and took the direction of many nonprofit associative enterprises. He created the “Entrepreneurship for Solidarity” Fund, which brings together twelve associations working for the well-being and support of frail people in Anjou. He is the initiator of the project “Zero Long-Term Unemployment Territories”, which was partly experimented in 1995 in the town of Sèches sur le Loir. He is now retired but continues to be active on this project as advisor to the presidency of the experimental fund and vice-president of the association “Zero Long-Term Unemployment Territories”.
